June 13

Day 16

Today was Darlington, SC.  This was the longest drive day, 295.5 miles.

This is the picture of City Hall of one of the small towns we drove through.  It sits in the middle of town and you have to either turn right or left in front of it.  There was a woman on the sidewalk taking a picture of the parade of cars going by while I was taking this picture.  She was so excited that I took a picture of their City Hall and thanked me for it.  What an awesome turnout of locals we get along our route each day.

Darlington Racetrack is huge.  They are in the process of adding 80 thousand seats and sadly only host one Nascar Race there a year.  Again the day was hot and muggy, but the cars are always amazing to see.  We have made quite a few new friends along the way and enjoy hearing where they are from and the stories about their car adventures.
