Day 19

This morning we left Charlotte, NC with the intent of visiting the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC.  We got to Asheville and found the Biltmore Estate Visitor Center.  We could not believe the cost of tickets to take a tour.  We decided that we did not want to spend the MEGA $$$$ and left.  I was extremely disappointed.  The Biltmore was on my Have To Do list while in NC.  Guess not!

We got back to Sweetwater, TN KOA where we left our motorhome for the week we were doing the Hot Rod Power Tour.  Stopped at a car wash to get the dirt, dust and grime off the Chevelle and one of the locals pulled up and said we needed to show up at a Car Show in Athens, TN that evening.  After getting back to the MH, we decided we had enough of car shows for a few days, so we loaded the Chevelle back on the trailer and got everything ready to leave for Cave City, KY the next morning.

We were extremely pleased with the performance of the Chevelle on the Power Tour.  We drove it about 1300 miles in 6 days and it ran great.
